Our Guarantee and Return Policy


With the following exceptions, any product may be returned for any reason, if in new condition (including manufacturer's packaging!), for exchange, credit, or refund, within 30 days of the purchase date.


Although we cannot guarantee your picking skills, SouthOrd® Lock Picks are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days. Our E Series Electric picks are warranted for six months, and our LAT-17 is warranted for one year. SouthOrd MAX® Lock Picks feature a lifetime guarantee. Warranties exclude abuse or misuse of tools. Shipping excluded.

Locksmithing Tools may be returned, if in new condition, for credit to your account toward the purchase of another product, or for replacement if defective.

Books are not returnable, and video tapes, DVD's and CD's may be returned for replacement if defective.

Orders canceled after shipping has occurred will be charged a 20% restocking fee, and shipping charges are nonrefundable.


Shipping Information:


For our domestic customers: UPS has been our preferred shipper for more than twenty years, offering reliability and superior customer service to our customers and company. UPS shipping rates, however, have increased beyond what can reasonably be expected for low-valued orders. For this reason, orders valuing less than $400.00 will be shipped through the U.S. Postal Service. Orders valuing over $400.00 will be shipped by UPS, where possible (USPS will be used when shipping to PO Boxes, FPO/APO addresses, or addresses located outside of the Continental United States). UPS 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping options are available to addresses that are deliverable by UPS.

Over-sized and/or heavy packages may require additional shipping costs.
